Shoe Collection Process

01: Collection of Donated Shoes
Unwanted shoes are being collected from the collection bins located at the designated three areas around campus before being calculated and compiled.
02: Grinding of Shoes
Shoes are then transported before they are being placed into a grinder that will be shredded into fine shoe waste.

03: Binding
The fine shoe waste being collected after being ground is then mixed with Polyurethane binder and mould that will be cured in an industrial oven at 60 degrees Celcius for 24 hours
04: Sewing of Sleeves
Faux leather is being sewed together and used as sleeves to contain the shoe waste blocks. The faux leather covering is durable and soft which is beneficial to cushion the violent actions of individuals suffering from autism

05: Transport of Paddings
These paddings are then transported to the Autism Resource Centre
